Great event last night!

Despite the dire weather threats, the sun came out. We had a very nice event: Swampy Science Social Club, last night at the Blue House. Dr. Laurie Earls (Tulane) spoke on "From outcast to innovator:  The molecular origins of diversity in the human brain and how diverse minds navigate modern society."

In a fascinating and participative way, she covered neuroscience research on personality, identity, ability and more. She covered highlights of her own research on 22q11DS, the second most common human genetic mutation. It is a complex deletion with diverse physical and psychiatric manifestations.

We thank Dr. Earls for her wonderful presentation, all the participants for coming out and the Blue House for the venue. We look forward to future events.
